Marina Rinaldi, an elegant plus size line from the Italian manufacturer MaxMara, founded in 1951 by Achille Maramotti, has opened its newest location at The 900 Shops at 900 N. Michigan Ave. Located on the 3rd floor of the luxury shopping mall on Chicago’s Magnificent Mile, the new Marina Rinaldi boutique has been constructed with stainless steel, white lacquer and chestnut wood to create a polished and sophisticated space. The work of art, designed by Italian Architect Claudio Carretti, resembles the store’s very own collection.
It opened with the debut of the new spring 2007 line of Italian luxury fashions with gorgeous feminine details and pieces inspired by Louis XIV and the fabulous silhouettes of the 1950s. Marina Rinaldi’s clothing comes in women’s sizes 10-22 and reminds women of every size that fashion and style has no boundaries.
